Hi Reader,

I still remember the day when I realized that the voice in my head wasn't me.

I felt relieved! 😮‍💨

Thank god all these mean and nasty comments are not who I am.

Ever since I'm working on transforming this voice into my biggest cheerleader and I've come a loooong way.

We have to listen to this voice our whole life so we better make it work for us and not against us.

How are you talking to yourself lately?

Let's dive into today's article 🤿

I was browsing my favorite vegan supermarket when I spotted vegan egg salad.

I loved egg salad as a kid, and I thought, Yes! Finally, I can have it again.

I had tried vegan egg salad before in Germany, and it tasted exactly like I remembered — creamy, tangy, perfect. 🤤

So, the next morning, I piled a thick layer of it on my bread and took a huge bite.

Yum....nope! 🙃

It tasted nothing like what I expected so I said ‘This egg salad isn’t good at all.’

I asked Roland if he wanted to try it and he said 'Nah, you said it’s not good.'

Then it hit me: the egg salad wasn’t bad — it was just different from what I imagined.

My words created a reality in which this delicious spread would rot in the fridge.

That reminds me I have to go and finish it now because I never managed to convince Roland to try it.

You can’t take back the words once said, you can apologize or try to make things right but they will always stick around.

This is just a tiny example of how powerful our words are.

As Robin Williams says ‘No matter what people tell you…words and ideas can change the world.’

How you speak to yourself creates your reality. Our words are the bridge between our inner and outer world.

If you want to create a life of gratitude, abundance, and calm delete these 6️⃣ phrases from your vocabulary.

🧘‍♀️ Mindfulness Practice
I share one practice for you to try every week:

This week, I invite you to pay close attention to your self-talk. 🗣️

How you talk to yourself changes everything.

You can't live a positive life with a negative mind.

This week we focus on one specific phrase: 'I have to / I need to'

  1. Count how often you use this phrase during the day.
  2. Replace 'I have to / I need to' with 'I get to'.

Every time you do this you practice gratitude for all the things you get to do during your week. 🙏

Plus, you signal to yourself that you are the one in power.

You design/ed your life, you are the active co-creator of your reality.

I'm so excited for you to try this and experience how this will change your mood and outlook.
